The Board of Directors at Exentis Group AG has been making use of an independent consultancy body, the Exentis Advisory Board, since 2018. It supports and strategically advises the Board of Directors and the Management Board on selected topics and acts as a sparring partner.

Dr Gero Büttiker
Dr Büttiker is a well-known Swiss entrepreneur in the steel and construction industry.
He has been a member of many boards of directors at companies in the building material sector, steel production as well as local authority and agricultural technology.
He has a civil engineering degree from the ETH and has a Dr. lic. oec. publ. degree from the University of Zurich.
Prof. Michael Klein
As a manager, Prof. Klein has broad specialist expertise and personal experience at the interface between business, science and politics – for example, as the office manager for a state secretary in politics, in science as a general secretary at the Leibnitz Association and at acatech – the German Academy of Science and Engineering – and as the “Head of Politics” at Robert Bosch GmbH.
He is an extra professor at the Technical University of Berlin for the history of technology and innovation policy and is a member of numerous committees.
Prof. Dr Jens Günster
Over 10 years of experience as Head of the department "Ceramic Process Technology and Biomaterials" at the Federal Institute of Materials Research and Testing Berlin.
Extensive research in materials science and physics (Scientific Research Associate at the University of Texas USA and Humboldt Research Fellow at the National Institute for Research in Inorganic Materials in Tsukuba Japan).
Graduated physicist and professorship in advanced ceramics. Since 2002 habilitation as University lecturer for Materials Physics at the Technical University of Clausthal.
Prof. Dr Ulrich S. Schubert
Since 2007 Head of the Department of "Organic and Macromolecular Chemistry" at the Friedrich Schiller University Jena, prior to that numerous research stays at renowned institutes in the USA, France and Germany.
Coordination of various collaborative projects with a total budget of more than EUR 60 million. Board or advisory member of numerous national and international scientific committees and programs, as well as editor of more than 1,000 publications in international academic journals.
Prof. Schubert has been listed as a "highly cited researcher" in the field of materials science since 2015. He is also a scientific member of the Max Planck Society and a Fellow of the National Academy of Inventors.
